Snow/Ice Storm Hits Home

This most recent series of storms has affected a lot of areas, I know, although not everyone has been hit by the whole series. We have had some sort of precip every day since Sunday afternoon (Jan. 25, 2009). 6 inches of snow Monday (I know, that's nothing compared to what folks up north have had to deal with), and then ice. Lots of ice. I understand this ice storm started in North Texas and has wreaked havoc over a large swath of the country. It's turned back to snow now, but about twenty minutes ago I heard a loud popping and crashing sound, so I looked outside.
